World Update - Living On The Edge Of Chaos
Proverbs 27:12 says,
"12The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it."
Are YOU the "prudent" or the "simple"?
So it might go without saying that we seem to be careening towards some unknown catyclysmic disaster but I am going to say it anyway.
What's interesting about the current world scenario is simply this...it's the whole world that is experiencing major upheavals in the old system of government and economics.
Also...it should be noted...that though there may come a time when the bottom drops out suddenly, it is more likely that we will continue on a slow bumpy decline in America and around the world.
In Greece we see a downgrade of their credit rating to CCC...which means they are vulnerable to default. We see the DOW Jones reacting as a reflection of world confidence having dropped for at least 11 days in a row. While the DOW did not drop precipitously as in 2008 it still acts as a mirror to global and American public opinion about world economic events.
The latest concern is that Greece has seen heavy withdrawals from the banking system there. It is being reported as a worry that there "MAY BE A RUN ON THE BANKS". At least 900,000,000 EUROS have been withdrawn over a short time. It seems to me that it's already happening. The EU powers presiding over the Euro's tentative and shaky position have elected not to deal with Greece until after their elections in June 2012. Alot could happen between now and then.
This is important to American markets because we are truly a global economic entity at this point. Every country affecting the next. When one defaults it must be absorbed by another country or collaboration of countries. The effects of default would be far reaching.
I am not an economic expert, but it does not take an expert to see that the world is teetering on the ledge of financial uncertainty. This is just one more point that will pave the way for a fantastic intervention on the part of the antichrist as we make a transition to a fully global currency. Ya...it's probably still a few years out...but alot can happen in one day. The stock crash of 2008 proved that.
It does not take an expert to see that these huge institutions such as the IMF International Monetary Fund are propping up the economies with bailout packages while arguing over if there should be austerity, budget cuts, or both. The world is living on borrowed time.
My advice would be to keep working while you still can. Start up valuable niche businesses that are guaranteed to draw income. God has not given us a Spirit of Fear but of POWER, LOVE, and A SOUND MIND. Are you living in that promise?
Turn your fear over to the Lord and focus on His still small voice. Be bold in business. Be a leader. Be an expert. Offer valuable services or products that people need...not that people want. Want will go out the window when NEED intervenes.
Invest in your family's stock of food and drinking water. Medical supplies and toiletries will be hot items when not available at the store.
Figure out a way to purify water now. Put in a rain water collection system instead of buying that new car.
Put in a solar panel array instead of buying that new offroad toy.
Learn how to grow food and invest in your ability and knowledge to do so.
Learn how to can and jar food that you grow for longer preservation than just the abundant summer months. The old ants and the grasshopper story might just be ready to pop onto the stage of your life shortly.
Wars and rumors of wars...but the end is not yet.
It seems that the DHS Department of Homeland Security is buying up all the military grade ammo in huge amounst. What could they possibly need that for in America? Are they expecting an invasion?
Earthquakes are increasing more than ever before. Do you think this is just an accident? Jesus said it would be so. Take the natural signs of as Jesus supernatural warning.
Are you ready for hard times? Are you prepared to be self-sufficient?
Will you be a drain on those who prepared or a blessing for this who did not prepare.
We do not have to become entangled with the affairs of this world, but we live in this world and should be preparing accordingly to be wise stewards of what God gives us.

but the simple keep going and suffer for it."
